Tenders are invited for Innovative Project Proposals or Concept Papers from Civil Society Organizations (Csos) or Ngos or Cbos that have Extensive Experiences of Working with the Local Communities Using Environmental Approaches under Gef/Sgp Focal Areas and Operational Programmes The proposal should include strategies of the following: monitoring, sustainability, co-financing, gender and social inclusion, communications, and transparency. Institutions applying for GEF/SGP funding should submit their institutional profile and registration certificates, documents verifying financial transaction done in the past, HR policy, and financial and procurement regulations. They are required to demonstrate their abilities to- a) forge partnership with local governments; b) mobilize resources in addition to the GEF/SGP support, and c) show visible impact of the interventions. Interested CSOs/ NGOs/ CBOs are encouraged to visit the SGP website given below or contact the GEF/SGP Office to obtain Guidelines for the preparation of project proposals. Proposal with clear mention of email address and telephone number of the proponent should be submitted both in paper as well as in electronic version (pen-drive or email attachment in MS Word programme readable by XP Professional) on the above-mentioned focal areas not later than 22 August 2022.
