- Description:
- This road connects the Biratnagar-Itahari Road (Highway) Nimuwa to Koshi Nahar of Budhiganga Rural Municipality and is an access road to East West Highway . The total length of the proposed road is 7.5 km, where upgrading section length is 0.668 km. The alignment starts at Koyalpur chowk (Ch 22+263) and passes through settlement . The road section is proposed to be upgraded from graveled road to blacktop standard with improvement in horizontal and vertical alignment. The road described above is designed for all weather access with general roadway width of 6.50 m along with 5 m blacktopped (Asphalt Concrete) carriageway including 0.75 m Graveled shoulder on either side.The Summary Description of the main works is as follows:a.Scarifying of existing bituminous surface, and existing sub-base/base;b.Laying of sub-base, base and Asphalt concrete;c.Road marking.
